A motorcycle is usually a beloved vehicle. Nevertheless, every motorcycle reaches the end of its service life at some point. The cost of repairs becomes too high, a technical inspection (MFK) is due, or there is accident damage.
Space requirements in the garage or structural damage can also lead to a motorcycle having to be disposed of.
I am a passionate motorcycle fan. I repair entire vehicles with great dedication and pleasure.

Recycle scooter

Scooters often serve as an inexpensive means of transport. Low maintenance costs are important.
If a repair is required that is more expensive than the value of the vehicle, this is called a total economic loss. Then it makes sense to dispose of or replace the scooter.
Otherwise, it is often not possible to sell old or worn-out vehicles profitably. Perhaps a technical inspection (MFK) is imminent, or there are defects. Often it is simply no longer worth the effort to sell.
Landfills usually do not accept vehicles.

Recycle moped

For many young people, a moped (Töffli) is their first motor vehicle. But as soon as they are old enough, they want a scooter or a car. The moped becomes superfluous. Money for repairs is better spent elsewhere.
Or the planned restoration project stays longer than planned, and eventually space in the garage becomes scarce.
Selling is often not profitable, costs effort, research and time.
Disposal is difficult or even impossible. It doesn't have to be. In good hands, parts or entire mopeds can be recycled or rebuilt.
